ATC's and ACEO cards

It's not that I don't already have enough on my plate...now I have decided to make ATC's. For those of you who have no idea what I am talking about, well join the club cause neither do I, but I am learning! But if you really want to know more, here is the link to wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artist_trading_cards
Hopefully, that link will work otherwise, just google ACT cards. I met some awesomely, sweet ladies a few months ago at my LSS and they were talking about their ATC's. I had no clue what they were talking about but knew I would soon find out cause they are the kindest ladies ever and I knew they would include me in on their fun. As it turns out, I haven't been able to go back to my LSS cause I have been out of town and now a sickling coughing my head off. These ladies will be so surprised when I present them with my ATC, well, once I design it/them! LOL! I have a pretty good idea of what I want to do but haven't sat down at the table yet to draw the plan and get started, and I am not sure why I draw a plan cause I never use it, I guess it just makes me feel like I know what I am doing. Oh and I guess there is a difference, ATC's are traded and ACEO's are bought and sold by collector's. Beats the heck out of all those collectible Beannie Babies upstairs in the closets, hiding in boxes just waiting to be released into the hands of my grandchildren/well grandchild at this point. Huhm...maybe I could cut them up and use their fur and those precious tags on my cards....ok ok, focus and get back on track here AADD woman. (AADD stands for Adult Attention Deficit Disorder, or blonde moments of a gray haired woman, or just plain ole' can't keep my shit together disorder, yepper that is it!)
I remember my dad used to make and trade QSL cards. It was really cool cause when I was a kid he would have his ham radios out in the garage and talk to people in Australia and then he would get cards from all over the world. I am thinking the ATC's could be as much fun as his QSL cards. What I would give for one of Daddy's QSL cards.......

Oh my gosh,
My dad was into the ham radio scene years ago. He would send out QSL cards after talking to guys from all over. Found alot of them when we were going through the house. We do have a lot in common.
