Resetting Internal Clock...

Once again I am trying to reset my internal clock that keeps me up til 4 am and sleeping til noon. I went to bed at midnight and tossed and turned most of the night. At 7:30 am, as planned, DH very quietly and nicely woke me...it is now 11:00 am and I am really having difficulty staying awake. Two cups of coffee and a Coke later, I am yawning and need a nap...maybe I need to just stay on my 4am-noon sleeping schedule and not try to participate with the rest of the lifeforms who go to bed at 10pm and arise at 6am...

On the bright side, in the past 3 1/2 hours I completed stitching the last 5 layouts for the 25th Wedding Anniversary album for DD#2's BFF parent's album. I don't generally make custom layouts but I am actually looking forward to making this album, can't wait for the photos and notes from their family and friends to start rolling in so we can complete the pages.

For this album I used patterns that I thought up all by my lil' ole' self (again, how many ways can one cut a piece of 12"x12" paper and stitch it back together like a quilt?) . I used two or three patterns of paper together on each layout. Now all we need to do is mat the photos with coordinating cardstock and attach the notes from participants, add a few blingy flowers, ribbon and chipboard letters and embellishments and it will be complete.

oh boy, I really have to get up and move, I am sleeping with my eyes open...do I really have to be on the same schedule as the rest of the world....

Well, I'm certainly not! We all have our own sleep/wake rhythms and the best times for working and being creative. I say go with what works for YOU!
