This is the last photo I have of all 3 of my children together before my son was killed in a motorcycle accident. Not only is the photo special but the layout is too. Judy has been a wonderful suppport to me during the last 2 1/2 years and I am so thankful for scrapbooking as I met Judy at our local scrapbook store. She has helped me through more tough times than I want to think about, always putting me first and listening. When our local scrapbook store closed, a group of us formed Inspiration Cafe Bradenton where we can continue the friendships we have made scrapbooking together.
I love to scrapbook, make altered home decor items and create dimensional and paper pieced scrapbook embellishments, especially handmade paper tear bears. If you are looking for 2 page scrapbook layout ideas, I have them labeled by theme. Look in the right column under LABELS and click on the theme you want to see.

Heritage Scrapbooking / Heritage Scrapbook Pages / Heritage Scrapbook Layouts
My children's heritage pages will be so different from what I think Heritage scrapbook authors currently consider and write about as being Heritage pages. I will use colors that were popular in the late 70's and early 80's, maybe some hot pink and flourescent orange....huhm...sounds pretty good to me!
I erased the personal info from these layouts, they really look better with all the journaling.
I love these photos! The smiles on their faces say it all, two people so in love, young, happy, and starting their life adventure together and what a life they shared!
I did another version of these photos but can't seem to find the erased copy of them...huhm...what did I do with them?

Scrapping Heritage Photos using Patterned Paper
My sister has asked me to make her some pre-made pages to start a Heritage scrapbook. She says she won't be picky, anything that I do she loves and would be proud to put in her book. She has done some amazing research into our ancestors and wants to get it organized. I haven't done many heritage pages except for my own pages where I had the photos and made the pages around the odd size photos. She likes the way I use patterned paper on the photo mats on my pre-made pages. I use the patterned paper on premade scrapbook pages so the purchaser can crop their photos if they like or use standard size photos and both look great on the mats. Many of our family old photos are not a standard size that will fit a 4x6 mat. But I think I can make her some nice pages with layered patterned paper photo mats that will work with her old photos. The other thing that I will do is to make the pages and use lots of patterned paper and ribbon for the background and not put any photo mats on the page and send her the matching cardstock and she can cut the mats to fit the photos. I can' wait to get started. But, I have to finish this baby book first....
